God is a scientist of the highest order. He created the universe and all that it contains. (review Acts 17:24)

 

The more that humankind learns about the universe, the closer we get to the truth about the universe and how it must have been created.

​

In our attempts to understand our universe better, we cannot rely simply on observations, calculations, measurements and theories of our own. Obviously, there is more to the universe than we can scientifically observe and quantify.

​

There is more in the universe than humans can possibly imagine. There is more within our own planet that we can possibly imagine, so how can we imagine the creation of a universe? With God’s help, that how.

We can’t know how God created the universe, and us, so long as we use our human reasoning to figure everything out. We know we can’t know - God’s plan. There is more, so we have to realize more.

​

We have to believe as well as know. That’s how science advances. People believe in a theory and then set out to prove their theory. If the theory becomes knowledge, it still is not wisdom, just intelligence.

​

This is like the ‘evolutionism verses creationism’ debate. We know that we evolved, yet we believe that we are created. We evolved as earth creatures called homo-sapiens, but - over time - we became higher creatures called humankind, beings with intelligibility and knowledge of truth and perfection and wisdom. Those phenomena don’t come about through evolution, but through creation and Grace.

Scientists know that humans can neither create nor destroy energy, we can only transform it. They call it the law of conservation of energy. It’s not God’s law. God creates and destroys, with a Word!

​

Intelligibility is what separates us from the rest of the species on our planet and wisdom is when we use our intelligence to do good and right things for others, especially others in need.

​

Wisdom allows us to believe. Intelligence allows us to know. Combined, we have the science of Faith.

​

We have Faith that this is all God’s plan. We know that something or someone, greater than all our scientific knowledge, created the Big Bang (a human theory). Now, scientists seem to have discerned dark energy and dark matter throughout our universe.

“It turns out that roughly 68% of the universe is dark energy. Dark matter makes up about 27%. The rest - everything on Earth, everything ever observed with all of our instruments, all normal matter - adds up to less than 5% of the universe.”

If everything ever observed with all of our instruments is less than 5% of the universe, then we must surmise the rest. That’s where Faith helps us.

​

If 95% of the universe is dark energy and dark matter, then it’s safe to say that they affect the universe and us, greatly. So, what is this mysterious, universal energy and matter?

​

To begin, rather than calling them dark (ominous, foreboding, evil), we should call them Light energy and Light matter (auspicious, providential, good). This will help scientists to learn more about these otherwise inexplicable phenomena and how to name them.

​

Light energy is life in the Spiritual realm and Light matter occurs when those in the Spiritual realm take on material form. You could call this Light energy and Light matter; non-corporeal life, or life beyond our universe, or even, life beyond time and space. They are the Lights of everlasting life. They are the beings of Light, just as we will be - one day.

​

This is the realm of the Holy Spirit. This is the realm of God’s Love! It’s brilliant! It’s powerful. It’s heaven on earth and the Holy Spirit in our universe. It’s 95%.

​

The dynamics of knowing and believing are at play throughout our lives, not just in matters of faith or science.

​

Each day we are challenged to find our way through life based on reasoning or faith. Our faith listens to the heart and our reasoning listens to the brain. But, your brain will never figure out your heart.

This is the daily battle we face when confronted with temptations of the body verses temptations of the Spirit. It’s reasonable to satisfy the body’s desires but, it’s Faithful to satisfy the Spirit’s desires.

​

Humans are capable of thinking with both reason and Faith. This is a blessing from God which no other creature has been Graced with. With our reasoning and faithfulness we can now move closer to the truth, closer to Jesus, who said, “I am the way and the truth and the life.”

​

We are also blessed by God if we believe and have Faith in Jesus without any human reasoning at all. All of our reasoning is human knowledge. This makes us all like doubting Thomas, needing proof.

​

All of our Faith is in Light energy and Light matter, the non-corporeal Light, the Light beyond seeing and reasoning. The Light that created the universe which doesn’t affect the Light. The Light that created humankind in It’s image.

​

God is the Light of Love and Jesus is the Light of the world, defeating dark energies and matter while creating Loving energies and matter, leading to everlasting life for body and Spirit in heaven with all His people of Light.

​

Our scientists can learn a lot from the original scientist, thank God.
